"I have long been a performer and advocate of new music, and to have the chance to premiere a new violin work composed by Wendy is one that is very exciting for me."
- ERIN ALDRIDGE | CONCERTMASTER DSSO
"Collaborating with Wendy over the years has been a consistent creative joy in my life. Interacting with her as a friend and colleague, I've experienced a deep sincerity, sensitivity, and generosity of spirit that also permeates her music making and compositions. I love the way Wendy explores harmony within the dissonant layers of life; grief, joy, sadness, humor, death, love - inviting the listener into an unexpected state of melodic self reflection."
- ADAM SIPPOLA | TENOR, ACTOR, DIRECTOR
"This event is a perfect storm of a gifted up-and-coming composer with an ensemble of Duluth's finest players. Ultra Vires will display Wendy's brilliance through the mastery of Erin's formidable playing. The performance of this challenging work (for musicians and the listener) promises to be an intense artistic moment that can't be missed."
